Vignoles is a grape developed in the late 19th century by the Frenchman, J.F. Ravat. It produces wine of outstanding quality with fruity riesling-like tang flavors. The gravelly Keuka Lake soils, where these Vignoles were grown, are ideal for bringing out the subtle minerals and fruit flavors of the grape.

This wine is made from 100% Vignoles grapes grown on the adjacent Purple Foot Farm on the eastern slopes overlooking Keuka Lake.
