In the 2002 vintage, temperatures remained so cool during the growing season that we picked some grapes as late as November 22, waiting for the firm acidity to drop into balance with the lush, ripe flavors of the golden clusters. The resulting wine bears Mer Soleil's signature profile: dense, layered, and concentrated.
