The grapes for this Merlot wine were carefully selected from premium New York vineyards. Maturation in small oak barrels for 10 months has resulted in a finely scented, rich and soft red wine that complements a variety of robust dishes. Dr. Konstantin Frank, known as "the father of Vinifera" in the Eastern United States, pioneered viticultural methods that a generation of Eastern wineries have used to grow these superb varieties of European grapes.
