The nose starts with lightly floral aromas, backed by vanilla and brown spice. Prominent notes of coffee and mocha soon develop. Rich cherry aromas assert themselves with some aeration and mingle with brown spice, particularly cardamom. The palate continues the cherry theme backed by mocha and elaborates it with strawberry and floral notes of rosehips. Soft but well-formed tannins and good acidity make for a medium body and plush, velvety mouthfeel. Cherry and strawberry continue on the medium to long finish.
