Join us December, 3rd 2014!

Triphammer Wines & Spirits will host the 8th annual “An Evening to Remember” event to benefit the Alzheimer's Association of Central New York on Wednesday, December 3rd, 2014 from 5:30-9:00pm. The gala will be held in the Grand Ballroom of the Trip Hotel Ithaca (formerly the Clarion Hotel), located at One Sheraton Drive, Ithaca NY. 100% of ticket and auction proceeds from this event will go directly to the Alzheimer's Association of CNY.

The event will once again offer guests extensive food and wine tastings from local restaurants and wineries, as well as a beer garden with a variety of craft beers. There will also be both a live and on-line silent auction, and live music by local talent. All participating restaurants, distributors, musicians, and other sponsors can be viewed on the Sponsor Page link at the bottom of this page. Sponsors and particpants will continue to be added, so please check back.


This event was founded by Julie Crowley (owner of Triphammer Wines and Spirits and Ithaca Coffee Company) in 2007, when her mother Patricia Crowley was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Julie has said that her mother, who passed away in June of 2012, would be, "so proud of the support in our community for this worthy cause. I am grateful to the local organizations who have become involved with our Gala-as sponsors and volunteers.”

In 2013 the Gala raised over $41,000 for the Alzheimer's Association of Central New York. Of those proceeds, a portion was used to provide scholarships to Certified Nurse Assistant and Home Health Aid licensed professional caregivers in Tompkins County to complete the Foundations of Dementia Care Training Series offered by the Alzheimer's Association, Central New York Chapter.
