The Zweigelt is the most widely planted red variety in Austria. It was created by crossing Blaufrankisch and St. Laurent. This Zweigelt is ruby red with tinges of purple, showing notes of red berries, raspberry and strawberry on the nose. The palate is juicy, fruity and elegant with mulberries and a hint of cherry.
