Where We Ship
We ship only within New York State, as permitted by our New York State Liquor Authority license. We cannot ship alcohol to other states, to PO boxes, or to APO/FPO addresses. Orders with out-of-state addresses will be cancelled and refunded.
Adult Signature Required — 21+
Federal and state law require that an adult 21 or older with valid government-issued photo ID sign for every shipment containing alcohol. Carriers will not leave packages unattended. Please ship to an address where an adult will be available during business hours — a workplace address often works best.
Processing and Transit Times
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days. Transit within New York State generally takes 1–5 business days depending on destination, and may be longer during holiday periods. You will receive tracking information by email once your order ships.
Shipping Rates
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on order weight and destination.
Weather Holds
Wine and spirits are perishable in extreme temperatures. During periods of extreme heat or cold, we may hold shipments for your protection and ship when conditions are safe. We will notify you if your order is placed on a weather hold. We are not responsible for temperature damage when you ask us to ship during a hold.
Failed Deliveries and Returned Packages
Carriers typically attempt delivery up to three times. If a package is returned to us because no eligible adult was available to sign, because ID could not be verified, or because the address was incorrect, we will refund the product cost less the original shipping charge and any return shipping fees. Re-shipment of a returned package requires payment of a new shipping charge.
Damaged or Incorrect Shipments
Inspect your order on arrival. If anything arrives broken, leaking, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days at +1 (607) 257-2626 or orders@triphammerwines.com with your order number and photos, and we will make it right with a replacement or refund.
Title
All alcohol sales are completed at our licensed premises in Ithaca, NY. By placing a shipping order, you authorize us to engage a carrier on your behalf to transport your purchase.
